From the 4th to 8th of March, in the Hybernia Theater will be held the hit of theatrical productions – The Slava’s Snowshow. This show, that has no parallel in the world, will be presented for the first time in Prague.
Since 1993, the Snowshow composed by Slava Polunin, the most famous Russian clown, celebrates a series of successes all over the world. It has been seen by millions of viewers and finally, also Czech audience can enjoy it.
This unique show won 20 international awards, incl. Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment, Drama Desk Award and it was nominated for Tony Award. No other show impressed on millions of viewers regardless of nationality, gender, religion, character, and age. It is an international family show based on the enchanting visuals, fascinating music, and the highest production standards.
The Slava’s Snowshow introduces the completely new form of clown show, it is varied and innovative. A disarming bunch of rollicking clowns will guide the audience through a breathtaking adventure where unbridled clowning alternates with charming, gentle to melancholic moments. The New York Times wrote about the show, that Slava “brought the finest touches of existential angst to the comedy”.
The show ends with a world-famous riveting finale. The Variety magazine wrote that Slava’s Snowshow is to clowning what Cirque du Soleil to the circus. The part of Snowshow (incl. the finale) has even been licensed to the Cirque du Soleil show Allegria.
